The MetGUARDZ Replacement Straps by STLFLX are a useful addition for those who require extra protection for the top of their feet while wearing pull-on safety boots and shoes. While they are not approved by ANSI or ASTM, they do meet and exceed all performance criteria required to pass. These guards attach to the boots through laces and have been tested to fully surpass the performance criteria of ASTM for metatarsal protection. The product comes with four adjustable straps per set and is sold as a pair. Some customers have experienced difficulty with the guards bouncing around and require readjustment, while others have found them easy to install and comfortable to wear.
