Then, pull the plunger unit straight up and out of the post. Make sure the filter unit is properly assembled before use. Next, fill the coffee maker with coarsely ground coffee. The recommended proportion of coffee to water is 2 tablespoons (10g) for every 6 fl.
oz. (180ml) of water. Please note that some of our coffee makers come with markings on the frame or glass beaker indicating this ratio guide.
Use only coarse ground coffee to prevent clogging and high pressure. Now, pour hot water just off the boil into the pot, leaving about 1 inch of space at the top. Once you've stirred the brew, place the plunger unit on the top of the pot and turn the safety lid to cover the spout opening.
