This seems to want to sharpen at an angle, making the exposed color part of colored pencils uneven. Am I doing something wrong?
Answer: I do not have that problem. Are you using the right size hole for sharpening? Also if you are right handed hold the pencil still in left hand and turn sharpener with right. You can hold it more snug that way it seems. Hope this helps. -
Question:
Can you sharpen crayons with it?
Answer: Probably not the best idea because the waxy build up would jam up the sharpener. It might work, though. I would just buy the product elsewhere. Good luck. -

Answer: 1 pack but I think you'll like the staedtler pencil sharper better, (STD51163), I do. -

Answer: I would advise against this sharpener and recommend the Kum long point instead; but if this is your choice it does say in the item that colors vary. I received a red one when I bought mine. -

Does it work well with larger, childrens’ pencils?
Answer: I really don’t know as I have only used it to sharpen adult colored pencils. -

The description says pack of 12. Is that a misprint? I read previous q&a stating there is only 1 sharpener. Confused. Thanks!
Answer: Not sure on this. When I ordered this sharpener it was only 1 but I think you can get replacement blades for it. The sharpener is great and works well.
