BOTSLAB On-Dash Cameras G980H Hardwire Kit with Fuse Tap Editorial Review
In a crowded urban environment fraught with risks of hit-and-runs, customers have found the hardwiring kit for their cameras to be an invaluable asset for added security. This product allows users to effectively connect their dashcam to the vehicle’s fuse panel, enabling features such as parking mode, which retains surveillance capabilities even when the car is off. Users have noted the ease of installation, with many successfully utilizing low-profile tap-a-fuses to create both an accessory power (ACC) loop while the vehicle is running and a Constant 12v supply when it is parked. This flexibility provides peace of mind knowing that the camera is actively monitoring surroundings at all times. Despite its strengths, some users have expressed a desire for enhanced functionality, particularly in relation to remote viewing. One customer indicated that they had hoped to access a live feed from the camera over long distances, which in part lowered their rating. Nevertheless, the product is well-received overall, providing practicality and straightforward setup for those needing a reliable surveillance solution for their vehicles. **
