CLAM Rattle Reel Indicator with LED Light & Audible Alarm

The CLAM 17476 Rattle Reel Indicator has garnered mixed reviews from users, highlighting both its functionality and areas for improvement. Described as performing its primary task as expected, the indicator facilitates fishing activities effectively. However, many users express disappointment regarding the lack of clear instructions for setup, which seems to be a common hurdle in initializing the device properly. Sound quality emerges as a significant concern; users report that the indicator is not loud enough to be heard amidst regular conversation or noise from multiple people, implying that it may not be ideal for use in environments where quiet is required, such as a sleeper shack. Additionally, while the brightness control for the LED is appreciated, it lacks a volume adjustment feature that could enhance the overall usability of the product. In terms of modifications, some users have found creative solutions, such as taping or epoxying magnets to the plastic wheels, indicating that while the product is functional, it may require some DIY alterations for optimal performance. Overall, the CLAM 17476 Rattle Reel Indicator serves its purpose but could significantly benefit from clearer instructions and improved sound amplification. **
