It records 4 independent channels, which output into two stereo recording files as CH1/2 and CH3/4. Though the battery door feels thin, and changing the batteries can be difficult, using rechargeable AA NiMH batteries along with a BP-6AA can make it last all day. It's lightweight, portable, and can even record low-decibel sounds like dripping water without worrying about computer sounds. The audio quality is decent enough, but the plastic feels cheap and there is a risk of ripping off the USB connector. Overall, it's good for mobility recording and has good sound quality.
