The lugs may not be large enough to junction a pair of 6 AWG stranded wire and it can have compatibility issues with junction boxes. One reviewer had difficulty finding an outside weatherproof box that would accommodate its deep dimensions while some have experienced overheating issues with cheaper outlets. However, the Bryant outlet fixed this problem by not even warming up after use. It is essentially the same outlet as the Hubbell Nema 14-50 but for half the cost.
