The Silicone LED Channel System is a new substitute for aluminum profile, designed to suit for indoor and outdoor flexible LED light strip, which is waterproof and IP67 certified. The product comes with a clear len for 10mm DIY LED rope light strip. The package also includes a rubber C-bracket to hold the channel on the wall. The reviews for this product are mixed. Some customers found it difficult to insert the LED strip through the channel, as the string provided snapped halfway through, which made it impossible to pass through the rest of the channel. Some went as far as cutting the side of the channel just so they could pass the LED strip through. Also, the rubber C-bracket provided doesn't grip well, and it might make the screw useless. On the other hand, some customers found this product easy to use, and they had no problems with it. The only issue they raised was that the diffusing on 5050 LEDs wasn't the greatest but mounting it in this channel would allow them to move it anywhere they wanted to without damaging the light strip. In summary, the Silicone LED Channel System can be a hit or a miss depending on the user's experience. Its advantages include easy installation and waterproof features, while the disadvantages Consist of the difficultly in passing the LED strip through the channel and poor LED light diffusion.
