It is an easy swap for an old or damaged head unit. The unit comes with a full harness included, and it is iPhone friendly. Bluetooth connectivity is straightforward, and the sound quality is great. Installation, for the most part, is easy, but some had issues with the clock switching times and had to seek help from a Kenwood representative. The stereo has a built-in mic, but the voice quality is terrible as callers report Constant breakup of speech. Some have complained about the control buttons on the bottom being too small and hard to read. The Bluetooth will randomly stop playing, and the unit displays miswiring even when all wires are correctly connected, as reported by some users. Also, some users wished that the unit had more physical buttons and knobs for station/selection switching as it is distracting and cumbersome to do with the current buttons on the unit.
