Answer: The back is open but I haven't noticed either a serious fan or collection of dust. We also have a dog and I don't see any build up or hair drifting around. I also don't feel any air coming out of the back at all. Too be honest, I never worried about it. -

Answer: Have not experienced that so I can not tell you. -

Answer: We use the cooler for dry reds so we keep it on 64 degrees. It will go up to 68 -

Answer: You can turn it off by hitting the light bulb/temperature button. But there is no dimming option. -

How long is the electrical cord?
Answer: I think it’s about 4 feet. I can only get to measure 3 feet but there’s more I can’t reach.
