The reading light works well for reading in bed. The cord is about 5 feet long. The lamp does not have a USB plug-in, but it's possible to build a wooden fixture that includes this light fixture and a 120 vac to USB fixture. The diffuser is made of opaque plastic. The switch is somewhat difficult to find, and there is no separate switch for the reading light. The lamp is slightly expensive. The shade is short, and it should have been taller. The spotlight is blinding bright and hard to point where needed. The flexible neck is stiff, and the switch design is lazy. The lamp should have had separate switches for the two lamps.
