The BACLAUGH Snorkel intake kit seems to be a mixed bag when it comes to customer experience. Another customer successfully adapted the snorkel for their offroad truck for driving through shallow streams and rocky rivers. They mentioned that it fit perfectly on their 98 4runner 4x4, requiring a 3-1/2in hole and connection to the factory air box with the included elbow. Similarly, a different reviewer stated that the snorkel fit well on their 2002 4runner and used a 3” 90 boot and a piece of 3” pipe to connect it to the intake. They also mentioned the option to order the Tacoma piece for connection. However, one reviewer found the lack of instructions frustrating, noting that the location of the intake and the snorkel were not close at all. They had to go to Home Depot to find additional parts to complete the connection to the air box. Overall, the BACLAUGH Snorkel intake kit seems to be a decent product with mixed customer experiences.
