Networks, Protocols & APIs Editorial Review
The 101 Labs - CompTIA Network book offers a valuable resource for those looking to practice their networking skills at home. While the book does not follow the same organization as previous 101 Lab Books, which were categorized by CompTIA objectives, it still provides useful exercises for learners. One reviewer mentions that they have the older edition of the book and found that the timing of the labs in this edition aligns well with the updated 200-301 exam. This suggests that the book has been updated to reflect current network certification requirements. However, another customer expresses disappointment in the book, stating that it is poorly written and lacks important points. It seems that the layout and structure of the book may not be suitable for all learning styles. On the other hand, a reviewer who uses the book for teaching Cisco classes commends the inclusion of great labs, indicating that the book can be a valuable tool for instructors as well. Overall, the reception of the 101 Labs - CompTIA Network book is mixed. While some customers find it useful for self-study and teaching purposes, others are not satisfied with the organization and writing style.
