In addition, the unit does not come with a padded carry case, causing inconvenience for transportation. Regarding functionality, customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the audio quality during radio use. Static and poor reception were reported, indicating potential issues with the radio function. Additionally, the Bluetooth feature cuts off when accessing the menu, making it difficult to adjust settings while listening to music. The user interface of the Power Acoustik PD-1032B is also criticized for being slow and unresponsive at times. Multiple attempts are often required to make a selection, which can be frustrating for users. Another drawback mentioned by reviewers is the lack of certain features. There is no screen dimmer, which can be problematic when driving at night. Additionally, the unit does not have an auto-dimming function, despite its large screen size. Some customers also noted that the unit obstructs other buttons in their vehicle's stereo area, causing inconvenience and the loss of access to other controls, such as AC and defrost. While the Power Acoustik PD-1032B offers a large, easy-to-see screen and decent sound quality when using Bluetooth, the overall Consensus from customers is that the unit has several shortcomings and lacks important features.
