The Meraki MR33 indoor access point is a highly recommended device by most IT professionals. It is an expensive device that is worth it, as it works non-stop with hardly a connectivity issue with various devices. The device provides easy cloud access for configuration, logging, etc. from anywhere in the world, making it a perfect buy. The unit comes with ceiling/wall mounting kit and with an active license, Air Marshal-the wireless intrusion prevention (WIPS) solution is included. Tech support is good, and the MR33 device covers a 50-60 foot radius. However, the device requires a license to function completely, and if the support lapses, the unit will stop working altogether. Some customers have reported that they purchased the device with a 1-year enterprise license, but no license was included. Cisco informed them that licenses are only issued by authorized vendors and had to purchase it separately.
