Answer: Not adjustable, hanging way up in my garage as we speak so I can't help you further, sorry. They do break down for transport or storage. Used for theater and some home projects; heavy duty and I would definitely purchase these again if necessary. Highly recommended !!! -

What is the length of each rack?
Answer: I've since sold our house and they stayed, unfortunately. I think they were about 5 feet. I would highly recommend them; they work great and are extremely sturdy.
