Can I use this type of sealer before basecoat?
Answer: Yes --- you can use as either a primer or sealer. If you use it as a sealer, give it ample time to dry (an hour or so) before applying your base directly to the sealer. I'm a fan of Speedokote's products for the value they provide. I use urethane base coats over this sealer. -
Question:
Is thinner needed?
Answer: It depends, if you need it for primer you don't but if you gonna use it for sealer you do. But You shouldn't use thinner but reducer. -
Question:
Can this be used with enamel?
Answer: Yes, it can be used with any urethane or acrylic enamel but do not use with lacquer.I used it to overcoat epoxy primer before a 2K urethane topcoat, works great.
