Answer: Fertilizers can invite bacteria and molds if stored too long. It's best to make up no more than a week's worth of solution at a time. -

How does this compare to Scott's liquid AV food, which is almost 3 times the cost?
Answer: I recommend the Bonide AV fertilizer as it has produced great results for me. The fertilizer composition of 7-10-7 seems to be just right for violets. Results may vary based on growing conditions. -

Is this made or associated in any way with China?
Answer: There is no printed information on the exterior referencing China. The only address listed is Orinskany, NY. -

What is the water vs formula ratio?
Answer: Mix 1/8 tsp. into quart of water as per the product description. -

Answer: I typically water from the bottom using a saucer with small stones and the plant takes up the water from its roots. -
