AEM 28-20031 DryFlow Air Filter

### AEM 28-20031 DryFlow Air Filter The AEM 28-20031 DryFlow Air Filter has garnered a range of experiences from customers, reflecting both satisfaction and some minor installation challenges. Users generally appreciate the filter's design and performance, particularly noting its ease of cleaning and maintenance compared to traditional paper filters. Many users mentioned that they prefer AEM filters over competitors like K&N due to their oil-free design, which eliminates concerns about damaging the mass airflow sensor through over-oiling. Installation appears to be straightforward for most, although some have reported that the filter fits snugly in certain airboxes, leading to difficulties in properly securing the airbox post-installation. This tight fit has received mixed feedback; while some users mention that it forms an excellent seal, others struggled with securing the airbox after installation. Despite these challenges, many drivers reported a noticeable improvement in throttle response and torque, along with an enhanced engine sound during acceleration. The filter's longevity is also a significant advantage for users, with some expecting not to clean it for up to 100,000 miles. This aspect, combined with the superior build quality compared to cheaper paper filters, adds to the overall value of the product for individuals looking for a long-term air filtration solution. In summary, the AEM 28-20031 DryFlow Air Filter is well-received overall. Customers value its oil-free design and long cleaning intervals while acknowledging some challenges with installation and fitment. ### Pros and Cons **
