This silicone heating pad for 3D printer beds can either be a waste of money or a great upgrade depending on the individual experience, according to the FAQ and reviews. To install, users need to use the red thermistor and white power cable of the silicone pad to replace the pre-existing thermistor and wiring of the PCB bed. If the previous bed thermistor is the same, no firmware modification is needed. Some users requested the seller to provide them with the drawing for holes positions for bed mounting/leveling screws. Users confirmed that the heating pad could be connected to a state relay, with no polarity difference for the power cables, but were requested to be careful and remember that the white cable is for power and the red cable is for temperature sensor. The 24V version can reach a 140C-150C temperature maximum, with aluminum plate as heatsink.
