Precalculus with Limits: A Graphing Approach 6th edition is a great resource for those taking precalculus. The author, Professor Ron Larson, has a gift for writing books that are better than explanations from many teachers. The book covers each new section of material adequately and has answers provided at the back of the book. The concepts are very well explained making it an excellent textbook for high schoolers. However, some users have noted that the examples are less than well explained and the text lacks the Saxon math series problems that come from earlier lessons, so it is easy to forget how to do the sections assigned weeks earlier. In general, the book is not a bad text, but not a great one either. Some customers were also disappointed that the newer edition is expensive compared to the older versions.
