The KOHLER 23766-BMB Tone Kitchen Sink Faucet is an elegant and modern workhorse faucet that has completely spoiled its users for any other sink faucet. The matte gold and black combination is fashion-forward and is perfect for those who want mix metals in their kitchen. It has an on/off/hot cold handle on the right side and a fan-shaped spray option with a extra button for increasing the water flow. The sprayer pulls out easily and the swivel joint works very well with no leaks. From the tip of the nozzle to the end of the faucet arm is 20”. Although the faucet is attractive and the body and valve are fairly sturdy, there are a few deficiencies which detract from the product. The temperature control is mediocre, and the sprayer is plastic which is unacceptable for a faucet that costs around $400. The water flow through the center aerator is fairly weak, even with "boost" turned on. The spray setting stays selected after turning off the faucet, rather than returning to the normal stream mode like most other faucets which is annoying. The counterweight on the sprayer hose tends to get caught on the water supply lines and drain pipe under the sink and this causes the sprayer not to retract, while the screen on the upstream side of the sprayer is poorly designed.
