It also has a maximum cutting thickness of 2-1/2” (up to 3-1/2” cutting both sides). The 1.5 HP engine is powerful enough to handle most jobs, and the 2,790 RPM blade ensures a clean and precise cut every time. One of the best things about this saw is its excellent engineering. It is well-built and durable, which means it will last for years to come. It is also easy to use, with a simple and intuitive design that makes it easy to get started right away. One minor issue with this saw is that if you press hard on the handle, it can push the blade out of square by about 1/16”. However, this can be easily avoided by “score” cutting the tile with the blade before you drop it all the way through. Overall, the Rubi DC-250 is an excellent tile saw that is perfect for both professional and DIY use. It is well-built, easy to use, and produces clean and precise cuts every time.
