The Gigabyte AMD 970 chipset motherboard is compatible with multiple processors and RAM speeds, does not require a BIOS update for use with the FX8350, and supports multiple chassis fans. There were multiple reports of damaged or faulty motherboards in the reviews, but overall customers who received working motherboards were satisfied with their purchase. One customer was disappointed that it cannot run Windows 11. It is suggested to use a more powerful power supply for larger graphics cards. The motherboard is affordable but not as high-performing as higher-end i7 processors.
