This sensor is a Time-of-Flight Flight Distance Measurement Sensor Breakout with a VL53L0X ToF Laser Range Finder for Arduino. There are some frequently asked questions about it in the reviews section. The minimum range is not specified. You can connect more than ten units at once, but all sensors except one should be held in shutdown mode as each sensor's address is changed. In terms of using it with Arduino, there is no issue with power regulation as the sensor has its own regulator that produces the required 2.8V from a 5V supply. The logic-level translators designed with it will also enable usage of it over I2C at 5V. The default I2C address is 0x29, and the best way to change it is by holding and resetting all the sensors in shutdown mode. False readings occur with any hood around the sensor. You can't have anything near the transceiver, and it becomes blind when measuring liquid levels if the surface has foam on it. A schematic of the sensor is not provided. The reviews are mixed, with some customers satisfied with the sensor's accuracy and easy installation while others got dead sensors.
