Answer: It's difficult to estimate as it depends on whether the pattern is 'open' or not. -

Is this bread cotton? And is size 10 thicker than the size 3?
Answer: This should read BEDSPREAD COTTON. I was working with USA patterns asking for size 10 cotton. I made inquiries and discovered that bedspread cotton was what I needed. Size three is thicker than ten. -

Answer: I don't know but would say 10m. It is very thin. Made lace 4cm by 10m. -

Answer: No, it's thicker than embroidery thread. -

Is this soft? Could I make a baby shawl with it?
Answer: I wouldn't make a baby shawl with it. I use it for lacy doilies/table runners. The cotton has no stretch to it. Hope this helps. -

Is this ok to make a wedding gown?
Answer: I suppose you could, but it would not be very soft, like you expect a wedding dress to be. Also, it's a thin cotton, it would take a long time to crochet. -

Has anyone used this for tying the eyeliner on Waldorf doll? Is it strong enough?
Answer: I have no idea what a Waldorf doll is. I used the yarn to crochet a tablecloth and it was very good, easy to use and strong. I couldn't break it by pulling, I had to use scissors. I hope this helps. -

Can you tell me what ply this is please?
Answer: This is basically the same as 3 ply knitting wool.
